Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

If Jefferson was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Kent-Meridian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 14-1 to the White River Hornets on Wednesday.

Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesabella Arceo, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for White River, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson is set to square off against their familiar foe Beamer at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, White River will face off against rival Kentlake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
