Red Cloud has gone 8-2 against Heartland Lutheran recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Red Cloud Warriors will face off against the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Red Cloud ended up a good deal behind Superior and lost 54-37. The Warriors have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Red Cloud saw an underclassman step up: freshman Josie Faimon posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Rust, who had nine points.

Meanwhile, Heartland Lutheran unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Archangels Catholic and fell 49-20. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, the Red Hornets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Red Cloud's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7. As for Heartland Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Red Cloud strolled past Heartland Lutheran in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 53-35. Will Red Cloud repeat their success, or does Heartland Lutheran have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
