Basketball Recap: Conneaut Takes a Loss

Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Geneva Eagles 58-26. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January.

Conneaut's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Geneva, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conneaut will take on Madison in a holiday battle at at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Madison is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season. As for Geneva, they are taking a road trip to square off against Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
