Deuel's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Florence/Henry Falcons 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cardinals have posted since September 18th.

Deuel took Florence/Henry into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 15-9.

Deuel's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 5-17. As for Florence/Henry, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.

Coming up, Deuel will head out to square off against Roncalli at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Florence/Henry, they will welcome Webster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
