Softball Recap: Granite Hills Comes Up Short

Granite Hills managed to slip by Santana the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 10-4 to the Sultans on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 24th.

Granite Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleigh Baugher, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Granite Hills has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15-1 record this season. As for Santana, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Granite Hills is set to face off against their familiar foe Steele Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Santana will take on rival West Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
