Volleyball Game Preview: Seattle Prep Panthers vs. Lakeside Lions

The Seattle Prep Panthers will square off against the Lakeside Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Seattle Prep comes in on three and Lakeside on six.

On Monday, Seattle Prep got the win against Eastside Catholic by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lakeside challenged Seattle Academy on Saturday. The Lions came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1.

Lakeside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-19.

Lakeside's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Seattle Prep, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Seattle Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakeside in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
