Basketball Recap: Howard Victorious

Howard posted their closest victory since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Aquinas Fightin' Irish out 49-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-40 back in December of 2024.

The win got Howard back to even at 7-7. As for Aquinas, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Howard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-20 loss against Westside on the 15th. As for Aquinas, they will head out to take on Hephzibah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Aquinas is facing Hephzibah at the right time seeing as Hephzibah is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
