Beyer extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Cruz Hibbard. Beyer came out on top against the Escalon Cougars by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Hibbard, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs he has posted over his last 14 matchups.

Beyer was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 23-25, 25-10.

Escalon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aydun Melo, who had 14 digs and two assists, and Carson Medina, who had nine kills and eight digs.

Beyer's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. As for Escalon, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

Beyer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Livingston on the 21st. As for Escalon, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Escalon Cougars challenge Big Valley Christian Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
