Softball Recap: Asbury Comes Up Short

Asbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Collinsville Panthers. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Asbury's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Collinsville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Asbury will head out to face off against Geraldine at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Collinsville, they will venture away from home to take on Fyffe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
