Volleyball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Takes a Loss

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] lost against Axtell back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Axtell.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Lauryn Ruda paced Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s offense, picking up three kills. Ruda got some help from Bristol Kubert and her nine assists. Kubert also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kylee Kubert, racking up two apiece.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Axtell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] and Axtell will both be playing Loomis the next time they take the court. Axtell will host Loomis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
