Baseball Recap: Grafton Takes a Loss

Grafton lost against Buckhannon-Upshur back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bearcats took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grafton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Moats, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Grafton will challenge Parkersburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Big Reds will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bearcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, they will square off against Morgantown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
