Volleyball Recap: El Modena Vanguards vs. Costa Mesa Mustangs
El Modena was the 3-0 winner over Costa Mesa when they last played one another back in August of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Vanguards lost 3-0 to the Mustangs on Friday. The Vanguards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-22.
El Modena's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Costa Mesa, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-14.
Coming up, El Modena will welcome Esperanza at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Costa Mesa, they will face off against Laguna Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
