Basketball Recap: Kings Christian Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Kings Christian extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Andrew Ortega. The Kings Christian Crusaders took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-15 win over the Legacy Christian Academy Lions thanks in part to Ortega, who went 10 for 12 on his way to 25 points and eight steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points.

Elyas Miro was another key player, putting up nine points along with six assists and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played.

Kings Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Kings Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-32 victory against Caruthers on the 11th. Legacy Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 54-53 defeat against Laton on the 14th.
