Softball Recap: Quantico Has No Trouble Against Foxcroft

Quantico won the last time they faced Foxcroft and things went their way on Tuesday too. Quantico blew past Foxcroft 23-5.

Peyton Greene was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabelle Hackett, who scored five runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.

The win got Quantico back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Quantico will welcome Fairfax HomeSchool at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Foxcroft, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
