Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santiago). Their defense stepped up to hand the Ganesha Giants a 4-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Sharks considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

The win got Santiago back to even at 2-2. As for Ganesha, they dropped their record down to 0-4-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Santiago will be home for the holidays to greet Hillcrest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hillcrest's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Ganesha, they will head out on the road to face off against La Puente at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
