Riverdale came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tullahoma Wildcats 9-7. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-6 back in March.

Riverdale now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Tullahoma, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale will take on Oakland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tullahoma, they will face off against Coffee County Central at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats are facing the Red Raiders at the right time seeing as the Red Raiders are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
