Volleyball Recap: Aquinas Institute Takes a Loss

Aquinas Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Our Lady of Mercy Monarchs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Little Irish of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Aquinas Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Our Lady of Mercy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Aquinas Institute will welcome Young Women's College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Our Lady of Mercy, they will take on Columbia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
