Volleyball Recap: Hawthorne Takes a Loss

Hawthorne lost against Culver City back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars came up short against the Centaurs, falling 3-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Hawthorne's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Culver City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Hawthorne has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Morningside on the 11th. As for Culver City, they will venture away from home to challenge Inglewood at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
