Basketball Recap: Cory-Rawson Comes Up Short

Cory-Rawson fought the good fight in their overtime game against Lima Senior on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 54-51. The Fighting Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Cory-Rawson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lima Senior, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Cory-Rawson is taking a road trip to take on Miller City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lima Senior, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Waite at 6:00 p.m.
