Morris extended their postseason success on Thursday against Sterling. They had just enough and edged out the Golden Warriors 2-1. Winning may never get old, but Morris sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Morris had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-9, 25-22.

Hannah Linn paced Morris' offense, picking up 13 kills. Linn got some help from Alexis Williams and her 19 assists. Alyssa Jepson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Morris' win bumped their record up to 30-6. As for Sterling, their loss dropped their record down to 19-16.

Looking ahead, Morris will venture away from home to take on LaSalle-Peru at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
