Albemarle won the last time they faced Monticello and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

While Albemarle won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Monticello still got an impressive performance from Nadia Mithqal, who had 17 digs and four assists. Mithqal is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.
