            Volleyball Recap: Licking Valley Panthers vs. Heath Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Licking Valley had lost three straight at home, but  on Wednesday they dropped down to 11-12 to make it four. They fell just short of the Heath Bulldogs by a score of  3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 Emory Whisner paced Licking Valley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Whisner got some help from  Sami Whitehair and her 27 assists.  Kylee Waters controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
As for Heath, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win they have posted  since September 18th.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heath to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Anna Mathias, who  had ten  digs.
 Licking Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heath, after both having extra time off, they and Fredericktown will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
