If Manheim Central was riding high fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Cocalico on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Barons fell 8-5 to the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers on Friday. The Barons' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Manheim Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Connelly, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Manheim Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Lampeter-Strasburg, their record is now 13-4.
