Volleyball Recap: Evergreen Park Takes a Loss

Evergreen Park's tournament run continued when they took on Chicago Christian on Monday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1.

Evergreen Park's offense was headlined by Connor Gallagher and Charlie Farrell, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Michael Bruno and his 21 assists.

Chicago Christian can attribute much of their success to Ryan Vanden Bosch, who had 14 digs and four assists. That's the most assists Vanden Bosch has posted since back in April. Jack Sawyer also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Evergreen Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Chicago Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.

Evergreen Park didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Stagg on the 5th. As for Chicago Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Wheaton Academy on the 6th.
