Basketball Recap: Delaware Valley Friends Takes a Loss

Delaware Valley Friends lost against Community Academy of Philadelphia back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Delaware Valley Friends had to suffer through a 54-13 loss at the hands of the Community Academy of Philadelphia The Bruins.

Despite the loss, Delaware Valley Friends still got an impressive performance from Henry Vilardo, who posted four points and ten rebounds. Vilardo is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played.

Delaware Valley Friends has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Community Academy of Philadelphia, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Delaware Valley Friends will head out to face off against AIM Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Community Academy of Philadelphia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
