Volleyball Game Preview: St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans vs. Leander Lions

The St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans will face off against the Leander Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.

St. Stephen's Episcopal saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Andrew's.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Leander and Georgetown, and Leander kept the tradition alive. The Lions came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

The win didn't come easy: Georgetown scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 21-25, 25-22, 25-21.

St. Stephen's Episcopal has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Leander, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
