Volleyball Recap: Mendota Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mendota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mercer County Golden Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17.

LayLie DenauLt paced Mendota's offense, picking up seven kills. Denault got some help from Eva Beetz and her six assists.

Mendota's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Mercer County, they moved to 9-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Mendota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hall on the 30th. As for Mercer County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Orion on the 30th.
