Shaw extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Bryan Dotson. The Shaw Warriors pulled ahead with a 36-35 photo finish over the Leland Cubs on Friday thanks in part to Dotson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Demetrick Price Jr was another key player, putting up eight points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played.

Shaw has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Leland, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
