Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Falls to Sanger in First Game of Season

Immanuel unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Sanger Apaches by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Apaches recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Immanuel took Sanger into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking nine-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 23-25, 15-6.

Immanuel wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Yosemite on the 14th. As for Sanger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Exeter on the 14th.
