Harvest Christian Academy had already won four in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Covenant Classical Cavaliers.

The team relied heavily on Court Patterson, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one triple. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Matthew McCullough was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Harvest Christian Academy pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harvest Christian Academy will square off against Prince of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on February 24th. As for Covenant Classical, they will take on Harvest Christian Academy in a tournament on Friday.
