Glenbard East barely beat Larkin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams put the hurt on the Royals with a sharp 11-3 victory on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Glenbard East has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Larkin, their defeat was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-21.

Coming up, Glenbard East will welcome Elgin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Maroons at the right time seeing as the Maroons are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Larkin, they will head out on the road to face off against Glenbard South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
