It was a proper cat-fight when Santa Cruz duked it out with San Lorenzo Valley on Thursday. The Cardinals blew past the Cougars 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Santa Cruz took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-3.

Santa Cruz is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
