Buena Vista had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 4-7 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Center Vikings 19-2. The Demons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Buena Vista let Knox Reid and Hudson Wingo run wild. Reid got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Wingo went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits Wingo has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Logan Scott, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Buena Vista always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. They are 3-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

As for Center, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly 17 runs.
