Northwest Crossroads recap October 29, 2013
Andrean extended the longest winning streak in Northwest Crossroads this week by beating Knox, 58-6. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Kankakee Valley lost to New Prairie 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Darrick Webster was a bright spot for the Kougars, as he threw for 46 yards and ran for 64 yards in the loss.
Justin Green was a passing and rushing force as Griffith beat Hammond Clark.
Kyle Buikema and Green gave the Panthers a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Buikema threw for 59 yards and 1 touchdown, while Green ran for 143 yards. Teammate Antonio Suarez added to the ground attack by rushing for 102 yards.
Hobart's Andrew Barras and Drey Devereaux have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Barras has thrown for 1,335 yards this season, while Devereaux has 46 catches for 705 yards. George Fields from Lowell leads the league in rushing with 1,190 yards.
In 166 carries Noah Smith has accumulated 916 yard this year.
Andrean led the league in scoring this week after putting up 58 points on the Redskins.
