Basketball Recap: North White Takes a Loss

North White was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 69-30 defeat at the hands of the Fountain Central Mustangs.

North White lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Braylon Sipkema, who posted five points and six assists. Those six assists gave Sipkema a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Fernando Gomez, who earned eight points.

North White's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Fountain Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North White will host Oregon-Davis at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. As for Fountain Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clinton Prairie at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
