Basketball Game Preview: Veritas Academy vs. Concordia Cardinals

Veritas Academy will face off against the Concordia Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Veritas Academy is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They were dealt a 58-22 loss at the hands of Hill Country Christian School of Austin.

Meanwhile, Concordia came up short against Brazos Christian on Thursday, falling 54-31. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1331st, while the Eagles are ranked 621st).

Veritas Academy now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Concordia, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
