Soccer Recap: Atlantic Falls to Riverside in First Game of Season

Atlantic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Riverside Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Atlantic were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Riverside apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2019.

The win keeps Riverside at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Coming up, Atlantic will face off against Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Riverside, they will take on Creston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
