There's no place like home for LeRoy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 56-32 margin over the Flanagan/Woodland Falcons on Thursday. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kora Edens, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Ella Derossett, who posted ten points.

LeRoy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Flanagan/Woodland, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-13.

LeRoy and Flanagan/Woodland could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. LeRoy (ranked 307th) will meet Tremont (ranked 145th) at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Flanagan/Woodland will challenge Tri-Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday down 290 places (422 vs. 132).
