Iola took a 22-point loss the last time they faced off against Anderson-Shiro, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Fighting Owls on Thursday, sneaking past 41-39. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Iola's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Anderson-Shiro, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-14.

Looking ahead, Iola will square off against Danbury at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson-Shiro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
