Baseball Recap: North Summit Comes Up Short

The North Summit Braves might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-2 to Varsity Opponent, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Summit saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Preator, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Preator is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

North Summit's loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, North Summit will take on Millard at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-4 defeat against CHAAMP HomeSchool on the 14th.
