Considering the Warriors have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Naomi Winburn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Julia Foti, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Cassidy McCartney was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Harvest Community kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Old Plank Christian Academy only managed eight hits.
Harvest Community's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Parsons Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
