Basketball Recap: Weaver Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jacksonville Christian Academy last Saturday, Weaver came back down to earth. The contest between the Weaver Bearcats and the Anniston Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Weaver Bearcats falling 57-38. The match marked the Bearcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Weaver's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Anniston, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Weaver has already played their next contest (against Saks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Anniston has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Pleasant Valley.
