Salesian College Preparatory had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Alameda Hornets on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Salesian College Preparatory was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-6.

Salesian College Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 27-6. As for Alameda, they dropped their record down to 15-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Salesian College Preparatory will challenge Justin-Siena at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Braves will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Pride surely won't give up without a fight. Alameda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
