Recap: Hamilton Wildcats vs. White Station Spartans

The Hamilton Wildcats lost against the White Station Spartans back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Hamilton was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to White Station. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hamilton in their matchups with White Station: they've now lost three in a row.

Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Devan McGee, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Rodney Mcneal, who scored 11 points along with three steals.

Hamilton's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-11. As for White Station, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will take on Kirby at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kirby is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for White Station, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Memphis East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memphis East will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while White Station is ranked 96th).
