Deerfield Beach hasn't had much luck against West Boca Raton recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bucks will face off against the Bulls at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Deerfield Beach took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Coral Springs with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bucks in their matchups with the Colts: they've now won four in a row.

Deerfield Beach was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-21.

West Boca Raton not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 23, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Boca Raton as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was West Boca Raton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Deerfield Beach's record now sits at 8-9. As for West Boca Raton, their record is now 6-12.
