Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Highland

Highland had won four straight games and Ty Crandall did his part to make it five on Friday. The Highland Hawks snuck past the Queen Creek Bulldogs with a 64-59 win thanks in part to Crandall, who went 7 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 28 points and five boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Highland's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Queen Creek, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Highland will welcome Desert Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Highland's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Desert Ridge has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Queen Creek, they will head out to challenge Gilbert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen Creek is facing Gilbert at the right time seeing as Gilbert is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
