Softball Recap: Southern Rams vs. Northern Huskies
Southern's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Northern Huskies. This was payback for Southern, who suffered a 4-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Adeline Wilson made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Wilson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Wilson was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Emelee Parks was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Southern's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Northern, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
