Century was handed a seven-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Shawnee Redskins 7-6. The Centurions haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Hayden Anderson, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Allison Burd, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Century's record now sits at 4-5. As for Shawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Century will challenge Hardin County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shawnee, they will take on Agape Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
