Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame suffered their biggest defeat since January 3rd on Thursday. They lost 76-54 to the Hillsborough Raiders. The Irish were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-23.

Derek Feath was nothing short of spectacular for Hillsborough: he posted 30 points. The dominant performance gave Feath a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Feath, who scored 12 points.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Hillsborough, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will take on Seton Hall Prep at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. As for Hillsborough, they will challenge The Pingry School at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
