Basketball Recap: Waterford Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Waterford Wildcats came up short against the Eastern Eagles and fell 59-46. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 608th, while the Eagles are ranked 161st).

Waterford has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season. Eastern has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Waterford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Eastern sitting on five straight victories and Eastern on three.
